Scott Fowler brings more than 35 years of expertise in sales, strategic marketing, and public relations, guiding organizations across sectors to elevate their visibility, strengthen their messaging, and achieve measurable impact. His diverse background spans commercial printing and graphic communications, advertising agency operations, media planning and buying, and market research and strategy development.

In 1999, Scott founded Brucemont Communications to offer a comprehensive, relationship-driven approach to public relations and marketing in Asheville and beyond. Since then, he has led successful campaigns for public agencies, nonprofits, and private enterprises—earning a reputation for thoughtful strategy, exceptional client service, and results that matter.

Lydia Carrington is a veteran writer, editor, and communications strategist with over 35 years of experience in journalism, media relations, and public information. Known for her sharp editorial instincts and deep understanding of the media landscape, Lydia helps clients craft compelling content and develop outreach strategies that resonate with both journalists and audiences.

Before joining Brucemont Communications in 2008, Lydia served in multiple leadership roles at the Asheville Citizen-Times, including Assistant Managing Editor, Projects Editor, Features Editor, Community News Editor, and Reporter. Her newsroom experience gives her rare insight into how stories are shaped, pitched, and covered—making her an invaluable resource for clients navigating press relations, thought leadership, and content development.
